Senior Cloud Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to drive a secure-by-design and automation-first culture across our Cloud and Productivity ecosystems. This pivotal role bridges high-level security governance and hands-on technical execution within the Group Security team, reporting into the CISO.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security controls across AWS and Azure cloud environments
• Drive an “automation first” approach to build cloud security automation and infrastructure-as-code guardrails
• Manage cloud security posture (CSPM) and configuration compliance
• Collaborate with Security and Architecture teams to align cloud platforms with security requirements
• Support vulnerability management activities across the cloud ecosystem
• Participate in security incident investigations and threat detection
• Ensure infrastructure deployments adhere to secure-by-design principles
• Identify opportunities for service, product, or compliance improvements
• Mentor technical team members and foster a security-conscious engineering culture
  

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience with a strong background in Cloud Engineering
• Deep technical knowledge of AWS and Azure infrastructure and core cloud-native security frameworks
• Strong understanding of automation approaches, scripting, and Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with cloud orchestration and provisioning across public cloud platforms
• Hands-on experience with cloud security technologies and vulnerability management tools
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
