🎯 The Role

The Cloud Engineer will design, engineer, and integrate the cloud environment that forms the foundation of the Client System. This role will implement and manage cloud services, optimize the cloud architecture for performance and cost, and ensure the environment is secure, scalable, and highly available. The engineer will architect multi-cloud and hybrid cloud solutions to meet specific requirements, implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate cloud resource provisioning, and establish cloud governance policies and guardrails.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud networking solutions including VPCs, subnets, and connectivity to on-premises resources
• Configure cloud security services and controls to protect cloud resources
• Implement cloud monitoring and logging solutions to provide visibility into operations
• Optimize cloud resource utilization to control costs
• Implement auto-scaling solutions to handle variable workloads
• Design disaster recovery and business continuity solutions for cloud workloads
• Evaluate new cloud services and features for potential adoption
• Maintain cloud architecture documentation
• Provide cloud expertise to other teams

📌 Required Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or an additional 4 years of experience) in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, automation, or security

⭐ Desirable Experience

Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments is a plus.

🎁 Benefits

Accenture Federal Services offers a wide variety of benefits. The base pay range for this position in the specified locations is $106,300 - $221,100 USD. You can find more information on benefits here.
