🎯 The Role

As a Senior Cloud Architect, you will be involved in the conception and further development of modern cloud architectures in AWS and Azure environments. You will work on scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud platforms, leveraging modern platform and container technologies.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Conception and further development of modern cloud architectures in AWS and Azure environments
• Development of robust target architectures for scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud platforms
• Design and implementation of cloud-native solutions based on modern platform and container technologies
• Architecture work in the context of Linux, Kubernetes, and containerized workloads
• Building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for reliable and automated software deployment
• Further development of automation approaches in infrastructure, deployment, and operational processes
• Utilization and further development of GitHub Actions, GitLab, and similar toolchains in the delivery environment
• Collaboration with development, infrastructure, and security teams to implement robust cloud solutions
• Definition and establishment of architecture principles, standards, and best practices
• Evaluation of new technologies and derivation of sensible architectural decisions for customer or platform contexts

📌 Required Qualifications

• Completed degree with IT focus or an IT training with comparable, multi-year practical qualification
• Several years of relevant professional experience in the cloud environment, preferably in architecture, platform, or transformation projects
• Proficient tech stack in cloud architectures and cloud-native technologies
• Sound knowledge of AWS/Azure or alternative European providers (StackIT, Upcloud, Scaleway)
• Understanding of design patterns (12 Factor App, Event-Driven Architecture, Event-Sourcing)
• Very good practical experience in Linux-based environments
• Experience with Kubernetes and container-based platforms
• Good knowledge of CI/CD and in the automation of technical delivery and operational processes
• Practical experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab, and modern build and deployment workflows
• Able to conceptualize stable, scalable, and secure cloud solutions
• Structured, analytical, and responsible work style
• Communication skills in collaboration with technical teams and relevant stakeholders
• Fluent German in speech and writing (C2) and English at least C1
