DevOps Team Lead

Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced DevOps Team Lead Engineer for a hybrid position based in Dallas, TX, Ottawa, Canada, or Hoboken, NJ. This role requires three days of in-office presence per week. Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Strategy

• Lead the design, implementation, and improvement of build and release pipelines
• Provide support and leadership to a global team of three DevOps engineers
• Spearhead the planning and execution of our cloud deployment strategy using Azure

Development and Operations

• Conduct code and documentation reviews to maintain high standards
• Train, coach, and mentor stakeholders on Azure DevOps and Git version control best practices
• Advocate for DevOps best practices among development and operations teams
• Collaborate with the Infrastructure team to resolve deployment issues
• Support development teams with project deployments to staging and production environments
• Research and evaluate new technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements

• 2+ Years of experience in a DevOps management role
• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps/SRE engineer in SaaS environments
• 3+ Years of experience with major cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Experience in building CI/CD processes for complex solutions
• Proficiency in programming skills in Python or Go
• Expertise in containerization and Kubernetes workflow development
• Strong skills in scripting and automation with Bash and PowerShell
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaaS) using Terraform and Terragrunt
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and adaptability skills

Compensation

Salary Range: $160,000 - $220,000 per year
