DevOps/API Engineer

Job Overview

Join Semiotic AI as a DevOps/API Engineer and own and scale the entire DevOps processes and infrastructure, supporting a high-growth B2C and B2B DEX offering. This is a unique opportunity to take a data-driven approach to optimization focusing on reliability and delivering the best user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain and deploy high quality, scalable, reliable, and low latency APIs in Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure


• Ensure uptime and reliability for blockchain-based solutions


• Refine and own the monitoring stack using Prometheus and Grafana


• Automate engineering-related tasks and processes


• Manage and upgrade Kubernetes infrastructure with minimal downtime


• Develop a robust real-time data streaming platform for data science and product development


• Improve internal build systems and manage/optimize CI/CD

Required Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science


• 3+ years of professional engineering experience


• Solid understanding of distributed system concepts and non-functional requirements


• Experience with containerization and Kubernetes clusters


• Experience maintaining and scaling cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud and AWS preferred)


• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)


• Advanced knowledge of modern DevOps practices (GitOps, CI/CD pipelines)


• Sound knowledge of networking and Linux internals
