The Position:  DevOps Engineer 

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer (Azure) who will be responsible for the successful installation and deployment of our B2B and B2C applications. He also provides technical support and troubleshooting assistance to Deployment Leads and Project Managers. The ideal candidate is an experienced devops pipeline builder who enjoys deployments and automations in a multi-cloud environment. The DevOps Engineer will work alongside our international team of data engineers, data scientists, business and data analysts to deliver a unique Health Application Solution and will ensure an optimal platform delivery that is consistent throughout ongoing projects and respecting architecture guidelines. He/she must be self-directed and comfortable supporting multiple systems, products and deployment pipelines. 

This is a full-time position, working at Paris office (or Nice with frequent travel to Paris) | France. He/she will be working full-time for the Ryte team under the supervision of the Ryte Solution Architect. This is a CDI (Full time) position. 

The Role: 

This is a hands-on IT infrastructure position in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a successful candidate, the DevOps Engineer will implement, deploy, secure, and manage private/public clouds. He is designing and deploying the systems necessary to leverage the power and economics of cloud resources to build and support the bedrock of our products and services. This role will assist in the architecture, design, and build of the cloud infrastructure within a multi-cloud environment to deliver a unique Health Data project. 

Responsibilities: 

• Creation and management of cloud and on-premises infrastructure. 
• Deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of production/test/dev systems running on the cloud. 
• Build of automation processes using scripts, CI/CD tools, and Infra-As-Code (IaC). 
• Use of Containers and Container Orchestration Tools. 
• System Administration, Script Development, Testing, and Security. 
• Management of the build process to include all the Modules in a single release. 
• Design and configuration of continuous integration & build system through collaboration with development and IT teams. 
• Deployment & configuration of the applications as needed. 
• Verification of system information, changes and updates. 
• Documentation, preparation and maintenance of installation guides for all system related modules. 
• Understanding of the stakeholders needs and conveying this to data engineers. 
• Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results. 
• Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats. 
• Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’. 
• Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended. 
• Understanding modern data architecture approach including event-driven, data streaming and data mesh. 
• Implementing internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing app delivery, etc. 
• Working with solution architects to implement the target architecture of the platform.  
• Cost estimation for resources in Azure subscription, monitoring and Azure costs analysis. 
• Mentoring for less experienced team members by providing counsel and constructive oversight. 

• Education: BS Degree or higher in Computer related fields. 
• 4+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer in architecture implementation, system installations, administration, migration and/or infrastructure support of business systems. 
• Very good experience in Docker / Kubernetes. 
• Good knowledge in Azure and GCP Cloud Platforms. 
• Very good knowledge in “Infrastructure as Code” DevOps Tools such as Terraform. 
• very good Knowledge in CI/CD processes and use of tools for their implementation, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps 
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows. 
• Very good knowledge in configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar 
• Working knowledge of databases and SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc.). 
• Strong knowledge in micro services architecture. 
• Very good command of English language skills. 
• Very good Interpersonal skills, written, and verbal communication skills. 
• Legally permitted to work in France. 
• Experience in the Healthcare industry and/or in International Startup or Enterprise is a plus.
