Cloud Security Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking for a talented Senior Cloud Security Engineer to enhance our Cloud Security capabilities at Miro. This remote work engineering position is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of cloud-native technologies and a passion for security within a SaaS environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud security controls and solutions
• Conduct security audits and reviews including architecture, design, and code within cloud and container environments
• Collaborate with DevOps/SRE teams, providing security expertise
• Develop automation for security and compliance checks at scale in the cloud
• Monitor and manage the security posture of Miro's cloud environments, ensuring effective vulnerability management and risk reduction

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in a cloud-native environment with a focus on automation
• Strong background in designing, implementing, and managing security solutions at scale
• Minimum of 5 years experience with AWS, 3+ years with IAC (Terraform) and automation tools (Python)
• Expertise in WAF, IAC, SCPs, Secrets Management, and Kubernetes
• 5-8 years of experience in Cloud Security, preferably within SaaS companies
• Capability to handle security incidents and on-call duties effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud security innovations and maintaining high security standards in a fast-paced SaaS environment
• Advanced certifications in cloud security and architecture
