Key Responsibilities
Act as a trusted advisor, building and maintaining long-term customer relationships with regular personal exchanges at the customer site.
Engage in consultative selling in the AWS context, actively listening to customer problems and translating them into meaningful cloud and AWS use cases.
Provide holistic cloud consulting, supporting customers with cloud strategies, organizational and transformation questions around AWS – not just technically, but also functionally and economically.
Coordinate and mediate between customers, internal experts, and partners, holding the threads together and ensuring clarity and progress.
Proactively identify and develop potentials (e.g., modernization, cost optimization, innovation, security, data, AI) and jointly advance these topics.
Conceive and moderate customer workshops, strategy meetings, and decision-making rounds.
Ensure that AWS solutions create real business value and have a lasting impact at the customer.
Required Qualifications
Several years of experience in the AWS environment, preferably in consulting and customer-oriented roles.
Solid technical understanding of AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, basic architectural principles) – without the expectation of implementing everything yourself.
Strongly developed communication and consulting skills, as well as a passion for personal customer contact.
Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly, structured, and audience-appropriately.
Experience in stakeholder management at different levels (IT, functional area, management).
Structured, coordinating working style and interest in holistic customer relationships.
Very good German skills and secure communication in English.
AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect – Associate) or the motivation to obtain them.
Experience in consulting, presales, or advisory roles.
