About the role: As a Senior Cloud Engineer for Azure, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure for our clients. You will play a pivotal role in our organization's cloud strategy by providing technical leadership, guiding best practices, and ensuring the success of our cloud solutions.

• Architect, design, and implement enterprise-scale Azure cloud infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement innovative cloud solutions aligned with our organization's cloud strategy.
• Optimize cloud deployments for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead technical discussions, recommend best practices, and mentor junior team members on cloud engineering principles.
• Design and implement automation tools and processes for provisioning, scaling, and monitoring cloud resources.
• Develop and maintain documentation for cloud architectures, procedures, and guidelines.
• Provide troubleshooting and resolution support for cloud-related incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and prompt issue resolution.
• Keep current with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends, sharing knowledge and insights with the team to drive continuous improvement.
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of cloud-based tools and services.
• Plan and execute migrations to Azure, utilizing lift-and-shift, app modernization, and other migration strategies as needed.

Must Have :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, with at least 3 years focused on Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-303, AZ-304) are strongly preferred.
• Expertise in Azure services, including but not limited to Azure Active Directory, Azure DevOps, Azure Monitor, Azure Storage, and Azure Functions.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, security, and compliance best practices.
• Proficient in infrastructure-as-code (IAC) tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
• Strong scripting and programming skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python, C#, or Java).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
• Extensive experience with Linux operating systems and administration.
• Demonstrated experience in migrating workloads to Azure, including both lift-and-shift and app modernization strategies.
