The Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team plays a crucial role in ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance of our infrastructure and services. By leveraging automation, monitoring, and best-in-class engineering practices, we ensure that our platform remains reliable and efficient for millions of users. We’re seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to support the development, maintenance, and optimization of our systems and services. In this role, you will assist in infrastructure management, monitoring, and automation efforts. You will also participate in incident response, learning from senior engineers to improve Prodigy’s system reliability. This is a great opportunity to develop foundational SRE skills in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Your Impact
Assist senior SREs in developing and implementing infrastructure solutions that align with Prodigy’s objectives.
Perform routine maintenance and monitoring tasks, including patching, backups, and log analysis to ensure system stability.
Follow established procedures for system configuration, deployment, and testing, while identifying opportunities for improvements.
Contribute to knowledge sharing and documentation efforts, fostering team-wide collaboration and learning.
Respond to alerts and incidents, assisting in troubleshooting and escalating to senior engineers as needed.
Work alongside software development teams to enhance system reliability and resolve complex technical issues.
Participate in training and development programs to build skills and knowledge relevant to the SRE role.

Bonus Points
Experience working in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering role.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code.
Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar) to assist with automation tasks.
