Presales Cloud Engineer

Description

Act as a technical expert and consultant to support the sales team in understanding customer requirements and proposing the appropriate cloud solutions
Collaborate with sales and product teams to develop and deliver compelling cloud solution presentations and demonstrations
Assist in the preparation of proposals, technical documentation, and statements of work
Conduct technical assessments and provide recommendations for cloud architecture and design
Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends, and provide insights and recommendations to improve the company's cloud offerings
Build and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and vendors
Provide guidance and support to the implementation and deployment teams during the project lifecycle
Participate in sales meetings and customer workshops to provide technical expertise and clarify the technical aspects of the proposed solutions
Conduct proof-of-concept (POC) exercises to demonstrate the feasibility and value of the proposed cloud solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful customer onboarding and adoption of the cloud solutions

Requirements

Proven experience in a pre-sales or solutions engineering role, preferably in the cloud industry
In-depth knowledge of cloud technologies and services, such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
Strong understanding of cloud architecture, design principles, and best practices
Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Ability to analyze customer requirements and propose customized cloud solutions
Experience in preparing and delivering technical presentations and demonstrations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong desire to continuously learn and improve
