Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Job Overview

Perk (formerly TravelPerk) is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our Platform function in Barcelona. As an SRE, you'll work on the systems that other engineers build on top of every day, focusing on reliability, scalability, and developer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable, reliable cloud infrastructure in AWS
• Define and implement observability strategy across our multi-company organization
• Collaborate with engineering teams to establish shared infrastructure patterns and standards
• Improve incident management maturity by enhancing detection capabilities and response processes
• Participate in on-call rotation to resolve production issues

Required Qualifications

• Experience with AWS services (ECS, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront)
• Experience designing and implementing observability solutions at scale
• Experience with Docker, ECS, or similar containerization technologies
• Strong experience with Terraform, including module development
• Track record of improving reliability metrics (MTTD, MTTR, SLOs)

At Perk, we take an IRL-first approach to work, where our team works together in-person 3 days a week. This role requires you to be based within commuting distance of our Barcelona hub.
