Job Overview

Join our team as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at PathAI, where you will enhance our hybrid cloud/on-prem infrastructure to support our AI-driven pathology platform. This remote work engineering position is key to advancing our technology stack and operational practices, focusing on automation, monitoring, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop infrastructure patterns for Amazon Web Services cloud environments, emphasizing security, reliability, and scalability.
• Lead the design, construction, and management of our data centers to bolster our Machine Learning capabilities.
• Seamlessly integrate on-premises data centers with cloud infrastructure to optimize our hybrid cloud setup.
• Enhance infrastructure reliability and resilience by conducting root-cause analysis and addressing design and implementation gaps.
• Support platform operations through on-call rotations and prompt incident response.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in a senior site reliability engineering or related software engineer role.
• Advanced skills in automation using scripting, Ansible, and coding in Python or GoLang.
• Proven experience in setting up monitoring frameworks with tools like Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• Proficient in infrastructure as code practices, particularly with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Knowledgeable in virtualization and container technologies such as EKS, Kubeadm, or KVM.
• Strong foundational software engineering skills applicable to operational tooling and application development.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
