Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance Oura’s AWS infrastructure and related services.
• Develop tooling, improve observability, and increase fault tolerance within our cloud platform.
• Advance our infrastructure as code platform, facilitating service migrations based on shared best practices.
• Optimize our deployment and dependency management processes for efficient and reliable code testing and release.
• Foster a team culture focused on operational excellence and maintain high SLAs.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Proven expertise in architecting and deploying data-intensive distributed systems in production environments.
• Strong proficiency in managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting production systems at scale on AWS.
• Familiarity with key AWS services including EKS, RDS, S3, SQS, Kinesis, Lambda, and Dynamo DB.
• Experience in building production systems using serverless architecture.
• Knowledge in managing and orchestrating containers in AWS with tools like ECS, Fargate, or EKS.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in the Healthcare industry and experience supporting large enterprises.
• Proficiency with Github Actions.
• Strong programming skills in Javascript or Python.
