Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join our team in Tokyo, Japan. This hybrid role requires 3 days in the office per week with relocation assistance available for new employees. You'll be working at the forefront of AI technology, helping customers leverage the OpenAI API platform to solve complex business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Solution Development

• Experiment and prototype solutions with and for customers
• Contribute to open-source developer and enterprise resources
• Scale the Solutions Architect function through knowledge sharing and best practices

Technical Leadership

• Validate, synthesize, and deliver high-signal feedback to Product and Research teams
• Apply expertise in programming with Python and Javascript
• Lead complex technical projects and programs with multiple stakeholders

Requirements

Experience & Skills

• 5+ years of technical consulting (or equivalent) experience
• Proficiency in Python and Javascript
• Built and/or delivered prototypes on the OpenAI API platform
• Experience leading complex technical projects with many stakeholders

Language & Communication

• Fluent in both Japanese and English - essential for partnering with customers and collaborating with headquarters teams
• Ability to proactively identify opportunities for maximizing customer business value

• Humble attitude with eagerness to help others
• Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure, dynamic environments
• Skilled at context switching and working on multiple projects simultaneously
