Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join our remote team in Bangalore. This role combines technical expertise with business acumen to help startups maximize their value on the OpenAI platform. As a platform engineer, you'll work with innovative AI startups, guiding them through ideation, development, delivery, and scaling phases.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Experiment and prototype alongside customers, demonstrating practical AI use cases
• Contribute to open-source resources and scale the function by sharing knowledge
• Synthesize and deliver valuable feedback to Product and Research teams

Customer Engagement

• Build relationships within the startup ecosystem
• Act as a technical partner to individual customers and the broader community
• Collaborate with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Applied Research, and Product teams

Requirements

Experience & Background

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, ML engineer or equivalent
• Startup environment experience highly valued; founder or founding engineer experience preferred
• Passion for startups and belief in their potential to become future enterprises

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and strong grasp of AI/LLM best practices
• Experience building and delivering prototypes on top of API platforms
• Ability to proactively identify opportunities for maximizing business value

Personal Attributes

• Problem-solving skills with ability to own issues end-to-end
• Humble attitude with eagerness to help colleagues and team success
• High throughput operator capable of managing multiple concurrent projects
• Strong prioritization and time management abilities
