Key Responsibilities

• Build and optimise the data platform to transform raw data into actionable business insights.
• Scope and deliver innovative data engineering projects in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Develop and deploy robust ML infrastructure to support advanced AI functionalities.
• Research and implement cutting-edge tooling for enhanced data processing and analytics.
• Maintain and expand our existing data infrastructure and tools, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Support the international expansion of our data infrastructure as Octopus Energy Group continues to grow globally.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience with Python, AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), and Docker.
• Strong knowledge of data/network security, Grafana, Postgres, and CDC systems.
• Familiarity with data-related products like Airflow, Jupyter, Spark, and other relevant technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in deploying and managing infrastructure with Terraform and continuous deployment using Circle CI is highly desirable.
