Senior DevOps Engineer

Nomic AI is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to help our engineering team build and operate resilient, performant, and secure systems. Our APIs are used anywhere someone needs to gain deeper understanding of large datasets, from worldwide corporations to academia, and by anyone - data scientists, project managers, students. You'll contribute directly to making AI understandable and usable by anyone interested.

Core goal: Help our engineering team build and operate resilient, performant, and secure systems.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the product and existing infrastructure of internal and bespoke systems

• Maintain and improve our security posture

• Own and improve our deployment process across all environments

• Work with support and engineering to resolve customer issues

• Own our API metrics

• Drive the execution of our devops roadmap

• Document our devops systems and processes

Ideal Candidates have deep experience with managing secure AWS environments via Terraform. Experience with compliance frameworks such as SOC2 (or standards like ISO 27001) is a plus. Experience with multi-region AWS systems is a plus.

Compensation Range: $100K - $180K
