Dev Technology Group is seeking a Microsoft Azure Developer to support our client’s mission to develop new tools and technologies, enhance existing applications, and provide Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support for mission-critical systems.

This mid-level role is ideal for a developer with hands-on experience building, enhancing, and supporting cloud-native applications and services in Microsoft Azure. You will work collaboratively within an agile team, translate technical requirements into maintainable solutions, and continue expanding your technical expertise in a fast-paced federal environment.

🎯 The Role

You should be comfortable contributing across the development lifecycle, working with Azure services and Microsoft development technologies, and supporting both new development and existing systems.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement new applications and services, as well as enhancements to existing systems, in an agile environment.
• Translate technical requirements and architecture designs into high-quality, maintainable code.
• Contribute to application design, technical specifications, development, and testing to support functionality and performance.
• Develop and integrate APIs and microservices.
• Work with relational and NoSQL data stores, including Azure Storage solutions.
• Support ongoing Operations and Maintenance (O&M) efforts for existing applications.
• Collaborate with developers, technical leads, testers, and other cross-functional team members to meet client needs and project goals.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and technical problem solving.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts involving code quality, automated testing, CI/CD, and deployment practices.

📌 Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 5+ years of relevant development experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
• 5+ years of experience using Microsoft development tools and technologies, including some combination of Visual Studio, SQL Server, C#, .NET, .NET Core / .NET 5+, WCF, SSIS, SSRS, and Azure DevOps
• Hands-on experience working with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Functions and serverless architecture, Azure App Services and cloud-hosted solutions, deployment/configuration/environment management, and building applications in Azure.
• Experience working with NoSQL and cloud storage solutions, including Azure Storage accounts such as Blob Storage, Table Storage, and Queues, with an understanding of scalable non-relational data design patterns.
• Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, including automated builds, testing, and deployments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a development team.
• Solid problem-solving skills and a demonstrated interest in building and improving software solutions.

⭐ Desirable Experience

• Experience developing or supporting systems for financial users.
• Familiarity with financial systems related to commodity futures, options, or swaps.
• Exposure to federal or regulated environments.

🎁 Benefits

Our estimated salary range for this position is $81,000-$130,000. This presented salary range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Offered salary is based on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements as appropriate to the role. *Salary could fall outside of this range.
