Lead DevOps Engineer

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a hard-working, enthusiastic Lead DevOps engineer to help us build world-class marketing software.  The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience working in a DevOps, SRE, Release Engineer, Operations, or similar role, helping build enterprise-class SaaS platforms for large enterprises.  Candidates should be excited to take ownership over infrastructure tools, including but not limited to CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, config management, secret management, and cloud agnostic automation.  We are looking for someone who is excited to help our customers by helping our teams build software that solves real problems.  As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will help make technology decisions, implement scalable infrastructure, automate processes, work in a compliance environment, and improve the reliability of what we deliver to our customers.

THE OPPORTUNITY

• Able to design, code, and deliver projects with minimal supervision
• Strong sense of ownership over the infrastructure and the quality of what is being delivered
• Focus on automating manual procedures and ensuring a process is reliable and repeatable
• Desire to work with engineering teams to implement best-in-class solutions and make it easy for engineers to utilize our infrastructure
• Ability to quickly get up to speed on existing systems and procedures
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with Engineering, QA, Product Management, and other teams
• Empathy for the users
• Work with the CTO and Operations Manager to ensure we are building a reliable, scalable product by meeting our architectural criteria
• Ability to make good business trade-offs when needed
• Ability to listen to feedback and input from the team
• Positive attitude and desire to keep improving our company culture
• Ability to be detail-oriented and adhere to compliance procedures
• Follow Naehas security and compliance policies and practices to protect and secure confidential data

Basic Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5-7 years experience as a DevOps engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, Release Engineer, Operations Engineer or similar role

Base pay range: $125,000 - $165,000
