Required Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced Business Development / Product Manager to join the Woven City Mobility Infrastructure team.

This position is at the center of efforts to provide cloud infrastructure and platform functions for various products in Woven City. We are looking for an experienced consultant-style individual who can lead modern professional teams and services to the next stage. You will support product launches in Woven City, inventor partnerships, planning of new platform features required for various mobility products, and jointly developing Go-To-Market strategies, broadly supporting expanding business use cases.

This is a challenging role that involves onboarding diverse mobility products onto Woven City's common platform and driving their continuous evolution. You will work across more than four sub-teams and ten product teams, collaborating with security, governance, and various assessment teams to support the expanding portfolio of functions and services in Woven City. These scales are expected to grow further within one year.

Key Responsibilities

• Understanding and defining common use cases: Analyze commonalities among multiple products in Woven City and collaborate with business teams to clarify common requirements for expansion beyond the city.
• Infrastructure planning considering ROI: Closely collaborate and discuss with technical architects and lead engineers to balance technical feasibility and ROI while planning and developing optimal cloud infrastructure roadmaps.
• Stakeholder management: Serve as a bridge between business requirements (business plans, GTM, etc.) and technical requirements (architecture, technical debt resolution, etc.), leading consensus building between both sides.
• Standardization and promotion: Negotiate with multiple technical teams to standardize infrastructure requirements that benefit the entire service team, and promote change management for operationalization.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
• 7+ years of practical experience in product management, technical product ownership, or technical planning in cloud platform services, SaaS, or infrastructure environments
• Deep technical knowledge that allows for equal discussion with technical architects and lead engineers regarding infrastructure architecture, understanding business requirements (ROI, business strategy)
• Track record of defining product/platform requirements from scratch, translating high-level business visions into executable technical roadmaps, and prioritizing features based on value and ROI
• Natural collaborator who values win-win situations, promotes productive conflict, and has the ability to mediate complex interests among stakeholders (business, development, operations) to reach consensus
• Clear and effective communication skills. Ability to concisely explain complex technical ideas to business stakeholders and appropriately translate business visions to development teams
• Business-level English proficiency

Desired Qualifications

• Patience in dealing with different cultures/languages and different decision-making mechanisms and logic
• Specialized experience in large-scale program management (ideally in digital transformation, AI applications, IoT, smart cities, smart stores, etc.)
• Excellent project management, organization, and communication skills, along with urgency and personal drive to effectively and efficiently execute transactions
• Patience and adaptability in multicultural environments and complex corporate decision-making processes
• Business-level Japanese proficiency
