🎯 The Role

As a Manager Software Development & Infrastructure, you will play a central role in expanding our consulting division. You will bring your experience from software development, infrastructure, or cloud projects, develop our consulting services together with the management and sales teams, and support our clients in demanding technology and transformation projects.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Develop our Software Development & Infrastructure consulting division continuously with management and sales.
• Bring ideas for new consulting offerings, topic areas, and market potentials.
• Identify relevant future topics such as Cloud Transformation, Platform Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, DevOps, or modernization of software and system landscapes.
• Support the further development of our service portfolio and technical focus areas.
• Advise our clients on software development, infrastructure, and transformation projects.
• Take responsibility for complex projects or sub-projects.
• Support clients with technological questions and the development of sustainable solution approaches.
• Act as a technical sparring partner for clients and internal project teams.
• Contribute your technical expertise to pre-sales activities and proposal processes.
• Support sales and management in customer meetings and the development of new business opportunities.
• Recognize market trends and contribute impulses for the further development of our consulting portfolio.
• Represent Lucke at customer events, professional formats, or networking events.
• Develop our community of software developers, architects, infrastructure, and cloud experts technically.
• Promote knowledge sharing within our network.
• Establish best practices and modern methods around software development, cloud, and infrastructure.
• Support the technical further development of our consultants and technical experts.
• Contribute ideas and impulses for the further development of our consulting division.
• Work closely with management, sales, and our experts.
• Support the sustainable expansion of our consulting business in Software Development & Infrastructure.

📌 Required Qualifications

• Several years of professional experience in the field of software development, IT infrastructure, cloud, platform engineering, or comparable technology areas.
• Experience in software development, infrastructure, or transformation projects.
• Experience in leading projects or sub-projects and working with different stakeholders.
• Experience in the consulting environment or in a management consulting firm is ideal.
• Enjoyment in networking people, sharing knowledge, and building technical communities.
• Experience in technical leadership, knowledge management, or community building is an advantage.
• Entrepreneurial thinking and interest in developing new topics and consulting offerings.
• Good knowledge of current topics such as cloud, DevOps, artificial intelligence, modern software architectures, or platform engineering.
• Confident appearance towards customers and internal contacts.
• Very good German language skills (at least C1) and good English language skills.
