Machine Learning Engineer

About the Role

Pitchbook Data is seeking a Data Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure and pipelines. You will work closely with product, engineering, and analytics teams to ensure our data is accurate, accessible, and secure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure
• Develop and implement data models and database schemas
• Optimize data storage and retrieval processes
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements
• Monitor and troubleshoot data-related issues
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or related role
• Strong experience with SQL and database systems
• Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes
• Proficiency in Python or other programming languages
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Understanding of data modeling and database design principles
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
