As a DevOps Engineer at Mach9, you will play a crucial role in both developing our backend services and enhancing our infrastructure to ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability. Your initial major project will focus on enabling on-premises hosting solutions for our significant clients, requiring a deep understanding of backend development, database management, and server operations.
Develop and maintain high-quality server code in Python and Typescript, ensuring best practices in code quality, security, and performance.
Lead the initiative for on-premises hosting infrastructure, from design to implementation, ensuring it meets our high standards for functionality and security.
Utilize your expertise in Postgres+PostGIS, hosting, and batch processing to manage and optimize our database and server operations.
Engage in continuous integration and deployment practices, leveraging Bazel for build systems where applicable.
Support ML operations by managing infrastructure for ML model training and deployment, preparing the ground for our dedicated ML Ops team.
Solid experience in backend development, with a track record of building scalable, secure, and maintainable services.
In-depth knowledge of database and server management, with hands-on experience in Postgres or other SQL databases and familiarity with cloud services and containerization technologies.
Experience with or a strong interest in learning Bazel for build systems.
