Your role at Kittl
You will be responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure that enables our web app to scale, operate efficiently, and deliver high-quality services. As our Senior DevOps Engineer, you’ll build and improve the current infrastructure and support the company's growth. You will be reporting to the CTO.
What you’ll do
Build and Maintain Scalable Infrastructure: Design, implement, and maintain robust infrastructure using the power of AWS services and modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to accommodate our ever-growing needs.
Automate Deployments: Establish and optimize CI/CD pipelines, automating the build, test, and deployment processes for our applications, ensuring smooth and efficient releases.
Proactive Monitoring: Implement and enhance monitoring solutions for our services. This will allow us to track performance, identify potential issues, and predict bottlenecks before they arise.
Bridge the Gap: Collaborate effectively with development teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure changes into the development lifecycle.
Incident Management: Be prepared to prevent incidents and, if they occur, minimize their impact and ensure swift resolution to maintain application uptime.
What you’ll need
Experience: Proven hands-on experience building highly scalable infrastructure for products with diverse and distributed user bases.
IaC: Confident knowledge and experience using IaC solutions like Pulumi, Terraform, or similar tools.
CI/CD: Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines, ideally using tools like Github Actions.
Coding: Familiarity with coding in TypeScript is a plus.
Problem-Solving: Possess a strong desire to tackle issues at their core, even when complex layers of abstraction hide them.
Efficiency: You understand how to simplify complex situations and work efficiently, delivering results quickly and smartly.

Technical interview with Lead Engineer & Senior Team Member (90 minutes)
Leadership interviews with Director of Engineering & CTO (30 minutes each)
Bar raiser interview with Founders Associate, right hand to CEO (30 minutes)
