🎯 The Role

As an IT Systemadministrator, you will be responsible for administering and developing our Microsoft 365 environment, maintaining server infrastructure, managing network and security components, and supporting colleagues with technical issues.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Microsoft 365: Administer our Microsoft 365 environment and contribute to its development, particularly in email, collaboration, and user and permission management (e.g., with Tenfold).
• Server and Infrastructure: Maintain Windows servers, virtualized systems, storage, and backups to ensure stable operation.
• Network and Security: Manage network components, firewall, and VPN, and implement measures to protect our systems and access.
• Backup and Recovery: Monitor data backups, analyze errors, and conduct restoration tests to ensure operational readiness in emergencies.
• Projects and Automation: Take on technical work packages from planning to implementation and simplify recurring tasks, for example, with PowerShell.
• User and Workstations: Support colleagues with technical issues and manage clients, applications, and telephony.
• Documentation and Collaboration: Document configurations and operational processes and coordinate technical tasks with external service providers.

📌 Required Qualifications

• Fundamental Education: Completed training as a specialist IT technician (m/w/d), IT salesperson (m/w/d), or comparable qualification.
• Professional Experience: Several years of professional experience in network and system administration.
• Network Competence: Solid knowledge of networking, particularly in TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, and firewall rules.
• System Administration: Good knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, as well as Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online.
• Infrastructure and Data Backup: Experience with virtualization (VMware or Proxmox), storage systems, and data and application backup and recovery (e.g., with Veeam).
• Service Orientation: Convincing customer and service orientation as well as patience and friendliness in dealing with users.
• Solution Finding: Structured approach to problems and sensible prioritization of tasks.
