DevOps Engineer

Job Overview

Interviews Chat is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our fully remote team. This is a senior-level position offering a competitive salary of $4000-6000 USD/month. As a DevOps Engineer, you'll be responsible for managing and optimizing cloud deployments, designing CI/CD pipelines, and implementing infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize deployments in the cloud (Vercel, AWS, GCP or similar)
• Design, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for different environments
• Monitor system performance and ensure availability, scalability and cost efficiency
• Implement infrastructure automation (Terraform, Pulumi or similar)
• Maintain secure configurations and apply good DevSecOps practices
• Collaborate with developers to optimize build and deployment processes

Required Qualifications

• Experience in DevOps, infrastructure or backend engineering, or transferable skills from similar roles
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Vercel)
• Familiarity with serverless functions and modern deployment flows
• Basic scripting or programming skills (Bash, Python or JavaScript)
• Curiosity, initiative and attention to detail

Plus: Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog) or IaC frameworks
