🎯 The Role

Depending on your focus area and team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and contributing to the continuous development of our IT landscapes – on-premises, virtualized, and in the cloud.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth operation of our systems and work on the further development of our IT landscapes – on-prem, virtualized, and in the cloud.
• Analyze disruptions, fix causes sustainably, and support teams and customers in 2nd/3rd level support (1st level support depending on the role).
• Plan, implement, and operate virtualization, server infrastructures (Linux/Windows), storage/backup, and monitoring – including maintenance, maintenance, and regular checks.
• Take over migrations and modernizations (e.g., OS upgrades, legacy housekeeping) and ensure that systems remain stable and secure.
• Design and operate network and security solutions (e.g., VPN/IPSec, firewall rule sets, WAN connections, email/web protection) and work closely with internal interfaces.
• Support implementations/commissioning of customer systems, conduct handovers to support teams, and accompany workshops or customer presentations.
• Document cleanly (e.g., in Confluence/Doku tools), build knowledge, and share it in the team – e.g., via training materials or a knowledge database.
• Depending on the team, participate in on-call duty (by arrangement, predictable and rotating).

📌 Required Qualifications

• Completed training in the IT field (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) or a comparable qualification – switchers with relevant experience are also welcome depending on the role.
• Experience in at least one of the following areas: Linux (Enterprise), Windows Server, Virtualization, Cloud (e.g., OCI/Azure), Network/VPN/IPSec, Backup/Storage, Monitoring, IT-Security, Support/ITSM.
• Tool and practical knowledge, e.g., with: Ansible/Terraform, Docker/Kubernetes, PowerShell/Bash, SQL (Microsoft/Oracle/PostgreSQL) – depending on the role.
• Structured, responsible way of working, good communication skills, and a desire for teamwork.
• Fluent German (C1) and good English skills (B2).
• Resident in Germany / Austria / Switzerland (depending on the position).
