📋 Job Overview

Quento Technologies S.A., the ICT arm of the Qualco Group, seeks a highly motivated and experienced Infrastructure Operations Engineer to join our Infrastructure Operations team supporting a large-scale private AI cloud platform. This role focuses on day-to-day platform operations, incident resolution, operational support, and the successful transition of infrastructure and platform services into our Operations team.

🎯 The Role

You will work closely with Platform Engineering, Security, and Architecture teams to ensure the availability, stability, and operational readiness of critical AI infrastructure. Your responsibilities will entail participating in knowledge transfer, shadowing, and service transition activities, supporting the successful handover of infrastructure and platform services into the Operations team, and investigating and resolving infrastructure, platform, and data center incidents.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Participate in knowledge transfer, shadowing, and service transition activities
• Support the successful handover of infrastructure and platform services into the Operations team
• Investigate and resolve infrastructure, platform, and data center incidents
• Perform day-to-day operational activities across compute, storage, networking, and cloud infrastructure
• Execute operational procedures, maintenance activities, and platform upgrades
• Monitor platform health, capacity, availability, and performance
• Support backup, restore, and disaster recovery activities
• Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures
• Contribute to automation initiatives and continuous operational improvement
• Collaborate with Platform Engineering, Security, and Operations teams to improve platform reliability and operational efficiency
• Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy

📌 Required Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, or platform operations
• Experience supporting enterprise or mission-critical infrastructure
• Strong Linux (Ubuntu) system administration skills
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes
• Experience troubleshooting infrastructure incidents in production environments
• Experience working within operational support and change management processes
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

• Canonical OpenStack
• MAAS and Juju
• Terraform and Ansible
• Azure DevOps or equivalent
• Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, or Loki
• NVIDIA GPU infrastructure
