Azure - Site Reliability Engineer

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Azure Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As an Azure SRE, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud-based applications and infrastructure.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Manage Azure SaaS environments as part of the Software Operations team
• Ensure security, cost efficiency, stability, and scalability of our systems
• Drive and implement our DevOps strategy, from driving the non-functional needs from the application micro-service to all operational aspects
• Support us in building and and driving a modern, cloud-inspired company culture to enhance software development and delivery processes
• Architect and implement our solutions "as a service", taking responsibility to build up, upgrade, deployment and monitoring solutions for modern cloud products (PaaS)
• Work closely with the product development and engineering teams to develop high-quality, performant, and scalable solutions to combat financial crime
• Maintain a current understanding of technology trends and platforms relevant to Compliance and Risk solutions, focusing on deployment, installation, and monitoring
• Implement and manage our CI/CD pipeline, customized to meet the needs of our customers and the nature of our business

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience in designing and managing cloud infrastructure on Azure
• Strong knowledge of Azure services, including VMs, storage, networking, and security
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code, containerization, container orchestration, and observability
• Experience with implementing security measures in the design phase
• Experience with at least one of the major cloud providers
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, ability to find innovative solutions for technical and interpersonal challenges
• Ease to understand the current technology landscape (preferably Java ecosystem, including open-source technologies, their strengths, and weaknesses
