About You:

Ideally, you have experience in DevOps whether it be from an SRE background or perhaps you have hands-on experience with DevOps principles as a developer.

What you will be doing:

You’ll work as part of a growing agile team of engineers who are involved in the full project lifecycles that the company is undertaking to aid in delivering projects on next-generation systems for both internal and external customers. Our primary focus is to let Developers develop and understand the impact of their development on production environments.

The Team:

• We are currently a small team of 3 engineers that work in a lean-agile environment consisting of daily standup, weekly iterations and weekly retrospectives.
• We work on generating our own OKRs to facilitate our needs to meet business requirements.
• seeking additional engineers to meet the rapid scale and demand of the platform.

What you will be doing:

• Take a sustainable and automated approach when building solutions.
• Research and Recommend sustainable enhancements in deploying and managing distributed systems, and other DevOps tasks.
• Actively participate in road mapping, ideations, iteration planning.
• Analyse and understand metrics, performance, reliability of systems.
• Handle release responsibility which rotates through the team. Promote and provide continuous improvements to our Release Management.
• Understand and adhere to best security practices (application and infrastructure).
• Documenting architecture changes, KBAs.
