The Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Team's mission is to build scalable and secure cloud solutions for both enterprise B2B customers and engineers. This team houses the smartest and kindest mentors where you will gain support and knowledge to challenge the status quo. As a Site Reliability Engineer you will play a hands-on role to aid in the refactoring of our infrastructure codebase into deployable artefacts. You will help drive best practices and security are adhered to when simplifying IaC into reusable components
Enabling the technology teams to deliver quickly through building Infrastructure as a Service.
Implementing and optimising using site reliability best practices, ensuring that our AWS services are configured and used in the optimum way.
Improving our build and release tooling, ensuring that we have the very best possible to enhance continuous development and deployment workflows.
At least 2+ years of experience in AWS and building robust infrastructure.
Strong technical knowledge of Terraform, with the ability to create and manage infrastructure as code
Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash etc) with the capability to develop and maintain automation scripts and tools
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal teams.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Optional but beneficial:
Previous experience with AWS Cost optimization tooling
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
