About Us
Platform engineering is revolutionizing how enterprises build and run their cloud-native setups. Humanitec is at the core of this revolution, enabling teams to build Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) and reach true developer self-service. Through our community-led efforts (platformengineering.org, PlatformCon) and roster of enterprise customers, we are hitting an inflection point in the adoption of IDPs. We are looking to scale our Customer Success Engineering team to meet the increasing demands of our customers.
As a Customer Success Engineer (Cloud Infrastructure), you will help our customers implement their own Internal Developer Platforms using Humanitec. You will be supporting our customers' Platform Teams with integrations, designing their infrastructure, and improving the developer experience. You will also have the opportunity to feedback on and contribute to the core Humanitec product, and help your customers do the same. You should have hands-on experience with all the core aspects of building and running applications in the cloud: from VPCs to Kubernetes to IAM. You will be writing Terraform, debugging cloud infrastructure, and even coding your own open-source Humanitec extensions. You will be working with massive Fortune 500 companies down to Silicon Valley startups.

Requirements
At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a Platform Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Infrastructure/Cloud Architect, SRE, DevOps Engineer, or similar role.
Deep knowledge of the AWS sphere; other cloud provider experience also an asset; relevant Cloud technology certifications are preferred but not required.
Hands-on experience deploying, managing, and debugging apps in Kubernetes.
Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform.
Experience with other Cloud native tools in categories like: CI/CD, observability, etc.
Remote & work from a UK/Irish/Portuguese timezone
Comfortable being customer-facing and assisting with Customer Success Management tasks is an asset
Responsibilities
Work with customers to understand their cloud infrastructure.
Suggest implementation approaches customers can use to roll out their Internal Developer Platforms.
Be willing to work with customers on suggesting and implementing best practices.
Assist with building custom integrations for larger customers.
Occasionally assist with Customer Success Management tasks including relationship building, project management, and success tracking/reporting
Feedback and contribute to the core Humanitec product.
Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in Cloud technologies.

Your first interview will be 30 minutes with our Talent Partner, so that we can learn more about you and you can find out more about the hiring process, role, and our company. This first interview is usually followed by 1-3 core interviews with the leadership team and your future colleagues/team members. These interviews are typically 30 to 60 minutes, fully remote, and without any take-home assignments. We will talk through your background, your approach to work, and dive into your knowledge & experience.
