Your Mission
You will play a major role in the expansion of our Anti-Money-Laundering platform, leveraging the Google Cloud. This is a great opportunity for you to apply your valuable expertise in cloud infrastructure and system design as you build and innovate a fully scalable cloud infrastructure, the services of which are going to contribute to the global fight against financial crime.
Your Responsibilities
- Drive technical and architectural design decisions and maintain our highly automated real-time data streaming pipeline based on Apache Kafka and Spring Cloud
- Create and maintain environments for our cloud, big data, and AI systems using our "Infrastructure-as-Code" approach
- Maintain as well as monitor our distributed and fault-tolerant cloud and containerized components and technologies
- Participate in the setting up and operating a fast-growing number of environments on several managed kubernetes clusters in AWS, Azure and Google Cloud
- Developing and maintaining infrastructure standards, polocies, processes, and procedures from Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
- Architect and define solutions that ensure the availability, capacity, performance, and security of our services
- Close cooperation with other teams around the globe, including requirements engineering and support
- Be able to develop and communicate technical documentation of existing and new cloud arhitectures with the team
- Drive technical and architectural design decisions and maintain our highly automated real-time data streaming pipeline based on Apache Kafka and Spring Cloud
Your profileÂ
- Enhanced knowledge of Java Spring Boot/Cloud and streaming technologies like Apache Kafka
- Experience in Google Cloud and its services
- Good knowledge in containerization and container orchestration via Kubernetes
- Knowledge in dealing with the Elastic Stack, Prometheus, CloudWatch as well as Grafana for monitring and alerting
- Basic Terraform knowledge or similar technology
- Excellent analytical skills in decision making, with the ability to speak in both business and technical terms
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies as requirements, tools and best practises constantly evolve
- Ability to speak and write Eglish fluently
- Attitude to communicate and discuss respectfully and constructively
- Collaborate, team focus with experience working in a 24x7 uptime environment with an on-call component.
