Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with security architects and engineers to evaluate, test, and deploy new security technologies and solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting best practices in cloud architecture and implementation.
• Interface with both external and internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Develop, monitor, and report on key cloud security metrics and implement remediation strategies.
• Design and implement scalable operational tools within the technology stack.

Required Qualifications

Prospective candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a cloud environment, with advanced skills in AWS services and the AWS Cloud Development Kit (AWS CDK). Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are crucial for success in this software engineer role.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as GitLab or Jenkins.
• Experience with container orchestration platforms like ECS/EKS.
• Agile methodology experience.
• Capability to conduct technical training workshops.
• Experience with Cloud security tools including CSPM, CWPP, and CNAPP.
• Scripting skills in languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• AWS Certification is highly regarded.
