Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced DevOps engineer to join our fully remote team at Equip, a leader in virtual, evidence-based treatment programs. This role is crucial for enhancing our cloud infrastructure and operational systems across all 50 states.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure and CI/CD Automation

• Partner with engineering and data teams to improve developer velocity and system reliability.
• Lead best practices in cloud infrastructure architecture and CI/CD automation.
• Develop tools and automation in various frameworks and languages to enhance service performance and scalability.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement through proactive monitoring and root cause analysis.

System Reliability and Security

• Ensure backend systems reliability and implement operational excellence across all platforms.
• Build secure systems with best practices in access control, encryption, and secure deployment pipelines.
• Set up comprehensive monitoring and alerting for infrastructure and services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in roles such as DevOps engineer, SRE engineer, or Platform Engineer.
• Deep expertise in AWS and its ecosystem of services.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Strong experience with container orchestration (ECS/Fargate, Docker).
• Hands-on experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work Eastern or Central time zones.

Compensation

Salary Range: $127,000 - $159,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
