Senior Site Reliability Engineer & Incident-Manager (m/f/d)

About the Role

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer & Incident-Manager at emnify, you will be instrumental in driving the company's Incident Management routines, enhancing observability, and ensuring resiliency across our platforms. This role is a blend of incident management operations, observability and monitoring, and platform engineering support within our Engineering department.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the incident management process, ensuring timely identification, resolution, and documentation of incidents.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams during incident investigations and resolution processes.
• Conduct postmortems and root cause analyses to prevent future occurrences.
• Design, implement, and improve comprehensive observability frameworks.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, alerts, and metrics to monitor the health and performance of services.
• Provide guidance and training on the effective use of observability tools.
• Leverage AWS services to build and maintain a resilient cloud infrastructure.

What You'll Need

• Proven experience as a Reliability Engineer or similar role in a SaaS and/or telecom company.
• Extensive experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, microservices, and modern observability practices.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
