DevOps Engineer (On-Call/Hybrid)

🏢 About Captivation

Captivation Software has an immediate need for a DevOps Engineer to support modernization effort to converge the agency's authoring, dissemination, and other supporting tools.

🎯 The Role

Responsibilities will include: deploying applications; installing and configuring complex software; managing network servers and technology tools; monitoring and maintaining the system for required levels of performance; and troubleshooting issues and outages.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Candidates will be required to work a rotating pager schedule for emergency 24/7 call-in support as required (roughly 1 week out of every 3-4 weeks).

📌 Required Qualifications

• Security Clearance: Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, or problem diagnosis/resolution.
• Master’s degree can be substituted for two (2) years experience

• Linux
• AWS, MASH, and VMs
• Docker Swarm
• Deployments of distributed web applications (e.g. GitLab CI/CD)
• Terraform scripting and VM provisioning
• Ansible scripting and development
• Thorough understanding of Docker & Docker Compose container technology
• Git

• Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience)
