🎯 The Role

You will be responsible for the operation and further development of our Kubernetes-based infrastructure, ensuring it meets business-critical requirements and supports our product's reliability and performance.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Take over the setup, administration, and expansion of a large business-critical Kubernetes cluster
• Take over the planning, setup, and further development of automated deployments and infrastructure processes in our cloud environment – with a focus on Kubernetes workloads and modern CI/CD pipelines
• Optimize, maintain, and extend existing CI/CD processes to ensure stable, efficient, and scalable deployments
• Support your colleagues in system operations, particularly in the areas of networking, databases, and server administration
• Introduce new platform and application components, standardize and automate their operation, and ensure reliable monitoring and observability
• Create technical concepts and documentation for the operation and further development of our services and take over maintenance work, log analysis, and troubleshooting

📌 Required Qualifications

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification (e.g., completed training as a systems integration specialist)
• Several years of professional experience in the IT industry
• Experience with the administration of large Kubernetes clusters and initial contact with Rancher and Autoscaling
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, preferably Azure or Hetzner Cloud
• Confident handling of Linux systems, Bash scripting, and shell automation
• Knowledge and experience with DevOps/pipelines and the automation of IT infrastructure/networks, preferably Ansible/Terraform
• Knowledge and experience in the administration and management of network infrastructures and their monitoring
• Practical experience with Prometheus, Elasticsearch, and Grafana for system monitoring and analysis
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Quick comprehension, very good analytical skills, pronounced ability for teamwork and independent action
