DevOps Engineer for e-governance applications

Job Overview

GRNET – National Infrastructures for Research and Technology, provides networking and cloud computing services to academic and research institutions, to educational bodies at all levels, and to agencies of the public, broader public and private sector. We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of e-governance applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for e-governance applications


• Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure using AWS or other cloud providers


• Automate deployment processes and ensure system reliability


• Collaborate with development teams to integrate and deploy applications


• Implement and maintain security best practices and compliance standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field


• 3+ years of experience in DevOps engineering


• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)


• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions


• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.)


• Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)


• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
