🎯 The Role
As a DevOps Engineer, you will work across development, platform and operations, with a strong focus on automation and continuous improvement. You will help create the technical foundation that allows software to move safely and efficiently from development into production.
✅ Key Responsibilities
Developing and improving CI/CD pipelines
Automating build, test, release and deployment processes
Working with Infrastructure as Code and configuration automation
Supporting containerised application environments
Improving monitoring, logging and observability
Troubleshooting issues across applications, infrastructure and deployment processes
Contributing to capacity management, backup, recovery and operational resilience
Supporting development teams with tooling, automation and delivery practices
Working systematically with vulnerabilities and security requirements
Contributing to the standardisation and continuous improvement of platforms and engineering processes
📌 Required Qualifications
You have several years of professional experience within DevOps, platform engineering, infrastructure engineering or a comparable discipline.
Experience with CI/CD and automated software delivery
Experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins or comparable technologies
Experience with Infrastructure as Code
Experience with Docker and containerised environments
Experience with Ansible or other configuration automation technologies
Experience with Linux
Experience with Git
Experience with monitoring, logging and observability
Experience with troubleshooting in complex production environments
Experience with security and secure software delivery
⭐ Desirable Experience
Experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms
Experience with business-critical public-sector solutions or digital healthcare
Experience working across multiple development teams and suppliers
