Key Responsibilities

• Develop features and improvements to services and products in a secure and tested manner, according to company guidelines.


• Write technical documentation.


• Solve high-impact and complex technical problems.


• Ensure best practices for high-scale services and products, with our coding style and the necessary maintainability.


• Solve performance and optimization problems, particularly at large scale, as well as demonstrate the ability to diagnose and prevent them.


• Advise and guide team members to help them develop their technical skills, removing obstacles to their autonomy and agility.


• Add value to the team and communicate your ideas effectively to your area leader.


• Availability to solve critical problems as needed.


• Collaborate to address support activities required by our internal areas.

Required Qualifications

Indispensable:

• English B2 or higher and Portuguese (desirable).


• Experience in Development with Ruby on Rails or Node.JS.


• +4 years of experience working with GCP. (GKE, CloudRun, CloudSQL, Memorystore, Pub/Sub, VPN, Compute Engine, IAM, etc.)


• Mid or senior experience with Kubernetes.


• Experience with environment variables in container instances and tools (Docker and Kubernetes).


• Experience working with Kafka and/or Pub/Sub.


• Development and deployment of infrastructure as code (Preferably cloud-agnostic tools).


• Scripting with bash and python.


• Solid knowledge and practice of software engineering, as well as best practices for the full software development lifecycle (this includes coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations, among others).


• Experience with operating systems, Linux file systems, proxies, web servers.


• Practical experience in writing and distributing large-scale distributed systems and high-quality client-server architectures.


• Communicate technical ideas effectively and collaborate with technical and non-technical peers.

Deseables:

• Experience creating microservices and APIs.


• Knowledge of JSON, TypeScript, Node.JS.


• Knowledge in security and compliance.


• Knowledge of common algorithms and data structures.
