Macaw’s DevOps Engineers are a close-knit group of professionals who work together in a practical, down-to-earth environment to design, build, and continuously improve Microsoft Azure cloud platforms. We support national and international customers in strengthening the stability, availability, security, and scalability of their Azure environments.

🎯 The Role

As a DevOps Engineer, you will help set up, monitor, manage, and support Microsoft Azure-based IaaS and PaaS environments. You will do this as part of a team of around 30 engineers, consultants, and architects, combining hands-on technical delivery with a customer-focused mindset.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and continuously improve Microsoft Azure cloud platforms
• Support customers in strengthening the stability, availability, security, and scalability of their Azure environments
• Help set up, monitor, manage, and support Microsoft Azure-based IaaS and PaaS environments
• Act as a trusted technical lead for one or more customers
• Lead assessments, advise clients, and help translate technical challenges into practical solutions

📌 Required Qualifications

• At least 4 years of relevant experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably in customer-facing or managed services environments
• Experience working with ITIL-based processes and service-oriented delivery
• Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps, PowerShell, Bicep and/or Terraform, CI/CD, containers, networking, security, IAM, and Microsoft cloud governance frameworks such as CAF and WAF
• Hold the AZ-400 and AZ-305 certifications
• Strong command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written
