🎯 The Role
As a DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with hardware/platform developers, software developers, IT, and system testing to streamline our processes and enhance our development infrastructure.
✅ Key Responsibilities
Work closely with our Hardware/Platform Developers and Software Developers, as well as the IT department and System Test.
Optimize our Build & Deploy Processes and expand them to Continuous Build & Deploy Processes based on GitLab.
Maintain our Software Repositories and the servers of our development.
Implement requirements regarding IT Security, Open Source License Management, and Patch Management within development.
Act as the internal interface for Software Build & Deploy Processes and our Linux Systems.
Use your Ideas and concepts to actively shape and Develop our DevOps area.
Organize the introduction of Open Source components and manage package management: NodeJS, Python.
📌 Required Qualifications
Hold a completed degree (preferably in Computer Science) or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.
Have experience in the development of software for complex systems.
Have experience in maintaining Linux Servers (Debian, RHEL, AlmaLinux).
Have solid knowledge of GitOps (with GitLab or GitHub) and experience in creating Deployment Scripts and CI/CD Pipelines.
Have good knowledge and experience in setting up and maintaining orchestrated container environments with Kubernetes and Helm.
Have very good language skills in German and English in both spoken and written form.
