🎯 The Role
As a (Senior) DevOps Engineer at amber, you will be responsible for automating our product and setup processes to reduce manual workload. You will work closely with our Development Team to optimize daily deployments of new software versions and resolve technical issues. Your efforts will contribute to making our platform more stable and scalable, ensuring minimal downtime and proactive problem resolution.
✅ Key Responsibilities
Automate our product and setup processes to reduce manual workload at amber
Work closely with our Development Team to optimize daily deployments of new software versions and resolve technical issues
Design, implement, and document improvements to our security measures for customers and external audits
Scale deployments for dozens of customers, including large databases, container orchestration, and cloud-native tools
Monitor incident response, work on root-cause analysis, and recovery of our services to ensure minimal downtime
Set up and maintain a robust monitoring and alerting solution to proactively identify and resolve issues within our platform
📌 Required Qualifications
Professional experience with Linux-based systems (Windows Server is a plus)
Familiarity with deploying and managing workloads across multiple cloud providers
Practical experience with K8s management, container orchestration, and related cloud-native technologies
Strong understanding of development and operations cycles, including CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform)
Experience with managing data streams using tools like Grafana, Kibana, or Prometheus
Excellent communication skills in both German and English with various stakeholders
Reliable completion of tasks and end-to-end ownership
Basic programming skills and comfort with Java or Python (experience with Rust or Go is a plus)
