At Delphos, you're stepping into a role where your work will pioneer uncharted territories. Here, every line of code and every idea contributes directly to innovations that could redefine global standards in cybersecurity. You’re not just a cog in the machine. If you think something is broken, fix it. If you do great work, we will all see the needle move. This isn’t just another job; it’s a chance to explore and expand the limits of what’s possible.
At Delphos, we’re building systems to collect massive datasets as well as train models and host them for inference. As a Platform Engineer, you will develop infrastructure that handles millions of files, billions of vectors, and gazillions of "got here" style log messages that other developers forgot to delete and were somehow missed in code review.
What You'll Do:
Infrastructure Development: Build robust systems for data storage, retrieval, and processing, all within our monorepo environment.
ML Operations: Design and manage end-to-end ML pipelines, ensuring the deployment of scalable and effective models.
Collaborative Engineering: Work closely with Security Engineers to seamlessly integrate data feeds and manage the flow of meticulously labeled data.
Resource Management: Optimize our use of cloud-based resources to ensure that our platform remains both powerful, economical, and not on fire!
Who You Are:
A forward-thinking engineer eager to set new standards in technology.
Proficient with the latest in cloud technologies and committed to sustainable, efficient solutions.
We’re building languages models that can understand compiled code • We’re focused on code security, with applications in software supply chain security, vulnerability management, vendor risk management, and application security • We’re still in the early days—our team is just under ten people • We’ve raised from top-tier VCs (Jon Sakoda at Decibel, George Hoyem from In-Q-Tel, Bill Coughran from Sequoia, and Matt Ocko from Data Collective) •
Our CEO has worked in product management roles at the CIA, Palantir, and Lookout Mobile Security before moving into venture capital. • Our CTO was the VP of Innovation at SentinelOne, where he led the development of several core AI + Security projects.
