Join our team as a Cloud Security Engineer II at Datadog, where you will enhance cloud infrastructure security through strategic collaborations with various teams. This remote work engineering position is ideal for a skilled software engineer eager to drive a secure by default model in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Triage Cloud Security Management (CSM) alerts and maintain a zero-alert triage queue.
• Design and improve security tools for operational reliability and proactive monitoring.
• Develop methods for analyzing and responding to security findings through automation.
• Maintain and refine cloud security baselines and develop new signature capabilities.
• Build security controls to detect, prevent, and correct cloud vulnerabilities.
• Leverage and influence the direction of Datadog’s security products to secure our infrastructure.

Required Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in Development Operations, Software Engineering, or Cloud Security.
• Proficiency in modern coding languages like Python, Go, or Java.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Knowledge of AWS, GCP, Azure, or Kubernetes.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced certifications in cloud security and familiarity with agile methodologies are highly desirable.
