The Role:
As the Head of Cloud Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive awareness and adoption of our products and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and engineering, to ensure alignment on marketing initiatives and messaging.
What you’ll get to do:
Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive demand, generate leads and increase advocacy.
Manage and execute campaigns, with the support of agencies and internal marketing teams, across various channels including email, advertising, social media, content marketing, online communities and events
Develop and maintain buyer personas, messaging, and value propositions for our products and services, adjusting according to industry changes and product-market fit
Collaborate with the product team to ensure messaging and positioning is aligned with product capabilities and benefits
Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly
Work with sales teams to develop sales enablement materials and ensure they are up to date and relevant
Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners to execute marketing programs
Keep up to date with industry trends, the latest technology and competitive landscape to ensure our marketing approach is innovative and effective
What you’ll bring with you:
3+ years of marketing experience in the technology industry, with experience marketing infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) or adjacent cloud computing products.
Demonstrable experience developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies, and creating integrated marketing campaigns.
Strong understanding of cloud computing and related technologies, and experience working with technical buyer audiences.
Proven experience in developing and executing marketing strategies across multiple channels by delivering marketing ROI and driving customer acquisition.
Strong understanding of marketing automation tools and how to use them to generate leads, optimize campaigns, drive retention and increase upsell opportunities.
Experience with content marketing and persuasive copywriting to create effective messaging and value propositions
Experience managing relationships with internal teams, agencies, strategic partners and vendors.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to create compelling content and present to internal and external audiences.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in the cloud computing industry or other technology-related field
Experience managing a team of internal and agency marketers
Knowledge of SEO and SEM best practices
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
Knowledge:
Understanding of cloud computing and related technologies
Ideally familiarity with blockchain and distributed computing
Knowledge of the competitive landscape in the cloud and infrastructure market
Understanding of developer and enterprise customer needs / buying processes
Awareness of current industry trends and developments
