Common Software Foundation organization is part of Nokia Cloud and Network Services division. We are the organization bringing the Nokia applications together into a coherent suite:
Through the development and integration of software components on various infrastructure
Bringing advanced capabilities from industry and inside Nokia
Used by the Nokia BUs, as a base for their innovative applications
As part of our team, you will participate in small development project in one or more roles (based on the project needs) / tasks covering different phases of development lifecycle.
Your responsibilities

Collaborate with other project stakeholders and participants
Understand and analyse requirements for the project or given tasks
Design and plan implementation and verification
Implement (code) needed functionality including unit tests
Create pipelines for building and testing the project
Verify that requirements are met
Develop & maintain test environment
Create automated test scripts
Troubleshoot problems & manage defects
Create and maintain project/ product and test documentation
Present your project
Your skills and experience
Must-have:
Active student status
Good English, both spoken and written
Willingness to work full-time during the summertime
Min. 1-2 years of academic background in Computer Science, Telecommunication, Software Technology, Engineering or equivalent
Programming skills in one of the following: Go, Python, Java, Bash or any object-oriented programming languages
Knowledge of Linux/Unix OS (command line)
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Good teamwork and communication skills
Ability to understand and work with English documentation
Nice-to have:
Cloud and microservices: Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), PaaS, SaaS
Open Interfaces: creating and consuming APIs using RESTful computing principles
Testing Methodologies
Test Automation - open source or commercial tools (e.g. Robot Framework, Cucumber, Radish-BDD)
knowledge or experience with AI/ML/DS
JIRA / Confluence/ Git/ Gerrit / Jenkins
Agile, Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) or Test Driven Development (TDD)
