About This Role
Crusoe is pushing the boundaries of sustainable energy by leveraging the power of stranded flare gas. We're building a global digital infrastructure platform that harnesses this wasted energy to power high-performance computing, revolutionizing industries like artificial intelligence and blockchain.
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer within the Crusoe Cloud Infrastructure team, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining the robust and scalable infrastructure that powers Crusoe Cloud's innovative High-Performance Compute (HPC) platform. You will be responsible for designing, deploying, and operating our critical infrastructure components, including compute, storage, and networking.
This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies within a world-class team and contribute directly to the success of a rapidly growing company, while making a significant impact on the global energy landscape.
What You’ll Be Working On:

Observability & Monitoring: Configure and maintain our observability stack, including logging, monitoring, and alerting systems (e.g., syslog, Fluentd, Prometheus, AlertManager, Grafana).
Proactive System Management: Develop and implement proactive monitoring and alerting strategies to ensure system stability and performance.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
Linux Expertise: Deep experience and fluency with Linux operating systems.
Infrastructure Management Experience: 10+ years of experience in infrastructure management, including bare metal server management, deployments, and OS provisioning (e.g., using Packer, Kickstart, MaaS).
Infrastructure-as-Code Proficiency: Experience building with modern infrastructure tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Terraform.
Networking Fundamentals: Experience with TCP/IP configurations and troubleshooting on Linux systems.
Automation & Scripting: Experience writing code to automate infrastructure management tasks with at least one language (Go, Python, Bash, or similar).
